Improved Cook Stoves for East Africa (ICSEA) awarded ‘2014 Innovative Energy Project of the Year’
UCB’s pioneering Programme of Activities Improved Cook Stoves for East Africa (ICSEA) was chosen by the prestigious 16,000 strong US Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) to receive the “2014 Innovative Energy Project of the Year” International Award.
The award was presented on October 1 at the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) in Washington DC, and was received on UCB’s behalf by the founder of the International Lifeline Fund, Dan Wolf at a glittering awards ceremony.
